"The golf course I was playing at used this on their fairways!"
"We’d never even heard of this until we went to a friend’s housewarming BBQ/party and I was stunned as to how their lawn looked. It looked like a golf green! So of course I asked him what he did to get his lawn looking like that and he told me all about it. He said that they were introduced to the treatment by their real estate agent who suggested they use it to increase the curb appeal of the old house that they were selling.
He also told me that they were initially reluctant since it was yet another cost. However after learning it’s actual cost and that the agent used it in all of his listings because it worked so well they ok’d it. They were blown away by the difference it made and so they’ve been using it since then at the new house. So being a guy who’s been trying to get that “perfect lawn” for as long as I can remember (to my wife’s dismay) I was excited to visit the website and read all about it.
However even though I was impressed with what I read and I’d seen the result first hand from my buddy’s lawn, I procrastinated and never ended up getting it done.
Fast forward a year later (June 2021) and I was down in Florida playing some golf and just happened to learn that the golf course I was playing at used this on their fairways! Decided that I’d try it once I got back to Canada. I have a fairly big back yard/lawn of about 8,000 square feet so I decided just to do my front lawn which is only about 1,400 sq feet as a “trial”.
Even with adding the prep time to the actual application it only took about an hour and a half to COMPLETELY change the look of my lawn to a perfectly even, green lawn! (the fact that it was inexpensive made it even better) Update September 2022. Well it's been three months and it still seems as green as it was when applied back in July. This is perfect because we’re past the “brown” season now here in Ontario so the natural greening up of the grass has restarted anyway. Even though I was concerned that mowing would make it lose its color, I’ve cut it several times since late June (when it was applied) just to see if it would fade but it hasn’t! Colin explained to me that this is why he applies the treatment after a really low cut so that it goes right down to the undergrowth. This ensures that even if you mow often it’ll still stay green because you’re just cutting off the tops of your grass when you mow. To say that it’s surpassed my expectations is an understatement.
The buddy who introduced it to me had told me that when he got his done for the first time, he'd be happy even if it only lasted a month and a half because our “brown lawn season” here in Ontario only really lasts about three months. (mid June to mid September) That meant that just two treatment applications per year is all you’d need for a perfect looking lawn over the summer! The fact that ours has lasted THREE months means just ONE treatment per year would work for us. To think that $120 per year is all it’ll take for a great looking lawn makes my wife beyond happy!"
