Question 3: Is this some DIY concoction that you guys came up with or this a legit thing?

We wish! We'd be rich now. lol! No, this is not something we came up with. The technology has been around for a long time now and the manufacturing is done by some big “names”. 

 

However it's not well known since it's mainly used in sports settings like soccer fields, football fields and golf courses. (you thought that was perfectly green grass, didn't you! lol)
