Don't know the square footage of the area you want treated?
You can easily get a rough estimate of the area you want treated by "walking the area". The average person’s walking “step” or "stride" is about 3 feet. (36”) So this method is a pretty simple way to get a good “rough estimate” of the square footage of the space you want treated.

Here’s how:
Let’s say the space you want treated has a length of about 12 of your “steps”. That’s 36 feet. (3 feet x 12 of your steps) Now let’s say the width of that space is about 10 of your steps. That’s 30 feet. (3 feet x 10 of your steps)
So to find the square footage of that space you just multiply those two numbers. So in this case 36’ x 30’ is 1,080 square feet. (BTW, the average front lawn in the GTA is less than 1,200 square feet)
